Crestone Music Festival – August 6-8, 2011
Come enjoy the 13th year of the Crestone Music Festival! Crestone Performances, a 501c3, organizes the event and strives to promote multi-cultural and multi-genre music in this upbeat, family-friendly, and internationally-represented 3-day festival. The non-profit organization also brings diverse music and culture to the San Luis Valley through youth enrichment and community service programs.

SLV Big Band
Created in 2003, The San Luis Valley Big Band was created to promote jazz within the valley. The SLV Big Band is comprised of teachers, business people, retirees, and semi-pro musicians from the San Luis Valley. Free admission is often offered at events in the valley and in neighboring states. Proceeds from performances, donations, and volunteering are passed along to create scholarships as well as benefit local musicians and music programs.

Adams State Music Program
The Department of Music at Adams State College is an active and vital program, committed to musical excellence within a small college environment. Each year they serve the campus and community with over 75 performances.
